The challenge was to create an elevator system that would significantly reduce energy consumption and ensure smooth and reliable operation. <\/p><p> <\/p><h3>Solution<\/h3><p>The <strong>Optidrive Elevator<\/strong> frequency inverter was chosen for its ability to meet these requirements, offering precise motor control, low energy consumption, and compatibility with photovoltaic systems. However, <strong>Invertek<\/strong> <strong>Optidrive<\/strong> frequency inverters demonstrate how they are much better integrated into systems, helping to increase efficiency and save energy. Currently, it is primarily used in small apartments and homes up to four stories. However, expansion and adaptation for larger infrastructures are already included in future plans. Engineer J. Sachsamanoglou plans to further develop the technology, with the resonant name &#8220;Going Up?&#8221; intended for taller structures.    <\/p><p> <\/p><p>Since their introduction at the Thessaloniki International Fair in 2011, Mezolift solar elevators have impressed and received critical acclaim for their significantly lower energy consumption <strong>(80% less than conventional elevators)<\/strong>, eco-friendliness, and the elimination of expensive, space-consuming machine rooms. Sachsamanoglou explains: <\/p><p> <\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>&#8220;Each elevator generates the necessary power and energy from a small autonomous photovoltaic unit. It is truly an energy-autonomous machine that can be used up to 30 times a day and operate for three days without recharging. Of course, due to our environmental stance, the elevator components, including <strong>Invertek<\/strong> frequency inverters, must also be environmentally friendly.&#8221;  <\/em><\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong>&#8221;Mezolift&#8221;<\/strong> also claims it is the world&#8217;s first elevator whose energy consumption is managed by sophisticated software and an energy management system. A. Amiridis, Technical Director and Business Development Manager for Automation Experts in Northern Greece, highlights the impressively low standby consumption of the <strong>Optidrive Elevator<\/strong>, which perfectly complements <strong>Mezolift&#8217;s<\/strong> eco-friendly offering for demanding architects and developers.
